Volunteer broadcasters have begun a 72-hour marathon in Bath. Bath Hospital Radio began the mammoth broadcast at 6am today and will keep going until the same time on Monday. The venture - which aims to raise £2,000 for the station - is marking 60 years of number one hits. The team will be joined by BBC Radio Bristol presenter Geoff Twentyman, and will be doing three-hour sessions each. Patients at the Royal United Hospital and the Mineral Water Hospital can listen in on their bedside radios while anyone else can log onto tuneinradio.com and search for Bath Hospital Radio. People can request music by emailing studio@bhbs.org.uk or ring 01225 824151. To make a donation through JustGiving, text HITS13, add the amount and send to 70070.
