Inspirational Bath sportsman Talan Skeels-Piggins has never been one to shirk a challenge.
The 42-year-old was paralysed from the chest down following a motorcycle accident in March 2003 but went on to represent Great Britain at the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Canada.
So when he knocked himself out during a 40ft fall while skiing in Snyderville, Utah earlier this month, Skeels-Piggins showed typical determination to take on the jump again seven days later.
Skeels-Piggins also competes on bikes during the summer and became the first wheelchair user to take part in a British motorcycle race in 2011. He is involved with The Bike Experience, a charity based at Castle Combe Circuit that helps disabled motorcyclists ride again.
