Businesses in the city are being encouraged to get flipping this Shrove Tuesday.
Bath's Flippin' Pancake Race is making a return, after a four-year break, thanks to Fringe Arts Bath and the Bath BID.
The race will take place on Union Street next Tuesday at 11am and will raise money for the charity Food Cycle.
Teams of four from Bath's businesses, restaurants and shops are invited to take up the challenge to win the coveted Frying Pan Trophy. There is a £20 entry fee for each team.
To coincide with the race Brendan's Crepe stall on SouthGate Street will be donating money from every pancake sold on the day to Food Cycle.
Andrew Cooper, Bath BID manager, said: "The last time Union Street was transformed into a pancake-racing course it was a lot of fun for teams and spectators alike, and we were really keen to revive the Shrove Tuesday race. We hope plenty of businesses in Bath roll up their sleeves, enter a team and help raise money for charity."

Bath Abbey is also celebrating the beginning of Lent with a pancake party next Tuesday evening from 7.30pm. As well as a time of prayer for the city, people will also get to eat pancakes and drink hot chocolate.
