Competition Rules
A. DEADLINE: Closing deadline for submissions is noon, Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
B. ENTRY: (1) to the competition is FREE. An eligible entrant must be an individual and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. (2) the winner must available during the week for the final photo shoot. (3) Proof of emailing will not constitute proof of delivery and no responsibility will be accepted for lost, damaged, illegible, delayed or mislaid entries. (4). Entrants must be Male, aged between 25 and 35 years and over 5ft 7ins tall.
C. PHOTO SUBMISSIONS: (1) Each entrant can submit ONE photograph. Any photograph submitted must be of the entrant's or with the entrants permission. (2) Images must be colour, high resolution jpegs of a minimum 3MB at 300dpi and a maximum of 15MB at 300dpi. Only unmanipulated images will be accepted. (3) Each digital entry must be clearly labelled with the entrant's name, address, phone number and email address.
D. CONSENT & COPYRIGHT: The entrant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright. By entering your photograph into the competition, you grant to Bath News & Media and Bath Racecourse the non-commercial non-exclusive right to use your images for promotion of the Bath Racecourse Groom competition and for promotion of the competition in any media.
E. VOTING: All submitted photographs will be featured on www.thisisbath.co.uk for an online poll vote with the TOP 5 being the entrants whose photograph obtained the most votes and will then be put forward to a panel of judges. (2) Voting will open Monday, February, 2013.
F. WINNER: The top 5 pictures will be presented to a panel of judges who will then decide the winner of the competition. The chosen "face" of the racecourse will feature in the new wedding brochure and will be treated to a dinner for two at the season opening racenight on Friday, April 19.
G. OUR RIGHTS: Bath News & Media and Bath Racecourse reserves the right to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. Should the quality of entries fall below the standard required we reserve the right not to award prizes. Bath News & Media and Bath Racecourse reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
H. The judge's decision is final and prizes can't be exchanged.
I. No correspondence will be entered into. No purchase is necessary. No cash or other alternative to the prizes will be available. The prize does not include any travel costs incurred in attending the final event or photo sessions. The decision of the judges shall be final.
