Candidates for the Somerset Council by-election, for the Frome North ward, have been announced.
One of the five candidates will be elected to join the council after a seat was left vacant, following the resignation of Sam Phripp.
The candidates are Adrian Dobinson (Independent), Catherine Richardson (Labour), Damon John Hooton (Liberal Democrat), Les Spalding (Green) and Linda Oliver (Conservative).
The election will take place on September 25 and voters in Frome North have until 5pm on September 10 to register to vote by post.
