Sophie Papps' surprise Commonwealth Games 100m campaign came to an end at the semi-final stage on Monday.
The 19-year-old Bath sprinter was only supposed to compete in the 4x100m relay at Glasgow 2014 but was handed a place in the individual competition on Thursday after being called up as a late reserve.
She took her chance with both hands, qualifying third in Sunday's heat at Hampden Park in 11.53secs.
Papps - whose career has blossomed since moving to Bath this year to work with Dan Cossins - was not quite able to match that time in Monday's semi-final, finishing seventh in 11.61, but will go into this weekend's relays full of confidence.
