Bath rhythmic gymnast Lynne Hutchison and her England colleagues narrowly missed out on a team medal at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games on Thursday.
Nineteen-year-old Hutchison performed several impressive routines during a busy opening day - particularly in the ribbon - as an England team also featuring Stephani Sherlock and Mimi-Isabella Cesar stayed in medal contention throughout.
However, they eventually had to settle for fourth overall, narrowly behind bronze-medalists Malaysia. Canada took gold ahead of Wales, whose silver was their nation's first medal of the games.
Hutchison - who won team bronze at the Delhi 2010 Games - will be back in action on Friday after qualifying for the individual all-round final.
