Lizzie Simmonds booked her place in the 100m backstroke final at the Commonwealth Games with an impressive semi-final showing.
Bath National Training Centre swimmer Simmonds was joint first in her semi-final Australian Belinda Hocking, with both clocking 59.98secs at the Tollcross National Swimming Centre.
Bath colleague, Wales' Rachel Williams, failed to qualify after finishing sixth in her semi in 1:02.48.
Emily Seebohm, also of Australia, was the fastest qualifier for Saturday's final, posting a time of 59.59 to win the second semi.
Simmonds told the BBC: "I blew the cobwebs away this morning and I feel good. It's great to know that I'm a bit ahead of the field with the starts and turns."
