A Bath pizza delivery driver who was taken to hospital after his motorbike collided with a taxi is recovering well.
The man, who is in his 30s, suffered a dislocated shoulder and facial injuries in the incident at around 2pm in George Street on Saturday afternoon.
Police closed the road at the junction with Milsom Street for a short time while they dealt with the crash and cleared debris from the scene.
The man's employer Domino's Pizza have said they are offering him support during his recovery.
A spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that one of our drivers was involved in a road traffic accident in Bath city centre on Saturday afternoon.
"Our driver was taken to hospital immediately by ambulance with head and shoulder injuries. He was discharged the following day.
"We have offered him any help or assistance he may need during this time."
