The demand for PlayStation 4 consoles in Bath remains as high as ever as worldwide sales figures top seven million units.
Jamie Hammond, sales assistant at Planet Games and Gadgets, said: "Sales are going well, it's very rare to have more than a few consoles in stock.
"We are getting more consoles in a steady stream in more recent weeks, but before it was a bit of a draught."
Sony released the worldwide sales figures on April 6. Main rival Microsoft are yet to release the figures for the Xbox One, which was strongly boosted by the release of Sci-fi shooting game Titanfall.
Andrew House, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO, said: "The PS4 journey has just begun, and although we are still facing difficulties keeping up with the strong demand worldwide, we remain steadfast in our commitment to meet the needs of our customers, and surpassing the wildest expectations of gamers by delivering new user experiences that inspire and engage."
