Bath City head coach Lee Howells is hoping a weekend lie-in will help his team get over their sluggish start to the new year.
Performance levels have been decent but the results have proven elusive in 2014, with City being held by Staines Town, Basingstoke Town and Tonbridge Angels.
They also lost to Skrill South leaders Bromley, their second narrow defeat to a top-two side in three weeks following a 2-1 reverse at Eastleigh in the last game of 2013.
Next up is a 300-mile round trip to Eastbourne Borough, who sit just one point behind City in an increasingly congested mid-table, and Howells is hoping a change in travel arrangements will bring a change in fortunes.
"We'll have a couple of nights off and then stay overnight at Eastbourne on Friday," he explained.
"That's great because we'll be able to have a lie-in, a bit of a stretch and then have a good chat about the game. We'll obviously have to freshen things up a bit as there are one or two tired legs out there at the moment."LISTEN TO LEE HOWELLS' POST-TONBRIDGE INTERVIEW IN FULL
Meanwhile, striker Nat Jarvis, who joined City on a non-contract basis last month, has left Mayday Trust Park to link up with Skrill North side Gloucester City.
