Police investigating the theft of a handbag from a Bath restaurant have made an arrest.
An appeal was put out about the incident which happened at the Jimmy Spices restaurant in Dorchester Street at 1.35pm on Saturday.
A number of names were passed to police after the story appeared on the Chronicle's website.
Today officers arrested a 24-year-old woman from Bath in connection with the theft.
She is currently being questioned at the police station in Manvers Street.
