City of Bath 1sts picked up from where they left off before Christmas as they ran out 6-2 winners at Newent to make it 12 Davis Wood Conference North wins out of 12 this term.
Chris Jones was allowed to run the length of the field to set James Kellock up for the opener and the same player doubled his tally with a reverse-stick finish.
An own goal from the Newent keeper put Bath 3-0 after a pass from Scott McArdell came back off the post.
McArdell then turned villain by receiving a yellow card and Newent took advantage, narrowing the gap to a single goal before the break.
With debutant Ryan Manvill producing a man-of-the-match display, Kellock completed his hat-trick in the second half before James' penalty flick and a goal from Hugo Knapp rounded off the scoring.
The 2nds were handed an 8-2 home defeat by high-flying Somerset Gryphons in Central 2, with Simon Sparkes and Harry Watling netting their consolation goals.
Tom Marks and Jamie Tuthill struck for City 3rds in a 2-0 victory over Chippenham A and the 4ths completed a club double as they beat the Wiltshire side's B team 4-1.
Jonny Bradford bagged a brace and was joined on the scoresheet by John Mahy and Pete Morris.
