Five-star Corsham Town stun Bradford as Keysham grab late point against Cheddar

Toolstation League Division 1 leaders Bradford Town suffered their first defeat of the season as local rivals Corsham Town recorded a stunning 5-3 away success. An exciting first-half ended with Bradford 3-2 up thanks to goals from Jake Hiscocks, Sam Jordan and Dan King. However, Corsham - who lost the reverse fixture 5-0 - shocked their hosts by scoring three times in the second period to record an eye-catching result. On target for the visitors were Nick Holton, Jason Henley, Booker Woodford (2) and Ryan Tyrell. Improving Keynsham Town, meanwhile, built on their recent win against Roman Glass St George by grabbing a late equaliser against 17th-placed Cheddar. Keynsham had the better of the first half but found an in-form Alex Jones in goal for the visitors, with Sam Roberts and Lewis Morgan both hitting the crossbar too. After failing to make their pressure count, Keynsham found themselves behind straight after half-time when Jake Manford was left with time and space to place a well-struck shot past Matt Dunk from the edge of the box. That was the only shot to get past man of the match Dunk, who pulled off save after save in the second half to keep the Ks in the game. Top goalscorer Ryan Ashwood wasn't going to allow Cheddar to take all three points, though, and, after being played through by Luke Lipinski on 89 minutes, he rounded the keeper and made no mistake from a tight angle to level the scores.CHECK OUT OUR PICTURE GALLERY FROM KEYNSHAM TOWN v CHEDDARCLICK HERE TO SEE HOW THESE RESULTS AFFECTED THE LEAGUE TABLES
