A jobs fair has helped unemployed people secure interviews with Bath businesses.
Learndirect, which provides free recruitment and pre-employment training services, held the fair, which aimed to introduce people out of work for more than six months to potential employers.
Its business manager Nicki Coles said the day had helped arrange 20 interviews and six people had found work.
She said: "We find that bringing people together like this is a lot quicker than an application form. We also find that skills on a CV do not always stand out but meeting a person and getting to know their personality can help secure an interview."
