A city maritime design firm has received a royal accolade.
BMT Defence Services, a subsidiary of BMT Group based at Lower Bristol Road, was presented with its Queen's Award for International Trade by Lady Gass, Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, for its export growth and contribution to overseas trade.
Managing director, Muir Macdonald, said: "It truly is a great honour and proud moment for us to receive this prestigious business award. The knowledge transfer, skills and expertise we are gaining from our endeavours overseas help to enrich our experience."
