Accident management firm Helphire is continuing to rebuild its finances.
The Bath-based firm has reported a strong performance in the first four months of the current financial year.
According to the company trading profits are ahead of the same period last year.
In a statement the company said refinancing the group in March had put it on a much stronger footing.
"As a consequence, the group is being invited to participate in an increasing number of commercial and other
opportunities which, if consummated, could provide a platform for more significant growth in the future."
In September Helphire revealed profit before tax was up to £4.3 million. In 2012 the company ended its financial year at a loss of £4.1 million.
In 2010 Helphire axed around 1,200 jobs, many in Bath.
It also closed its call centre in the city, concentrating its operations in the north of England.
