Martin Roberts has made the transition to Bath Rugby look seamless this season but the scrum-half says their fantastic start in the Aviva Premiership has helped no end.
Roberts, capped three times by Wales, made the switch from Northampton Saints to The Rec in the summer and has made five appearances in the league so far.
It has coincided with a fabulous run of six wins from the opening eight Premiership games for Gary Gold's troops.
Roberts also started the two LV= Cup victories earlier this month as Bath made a flying start to the competition against Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs.
Although Peter Stringer is still first-choice at number nine, Roberts admits he has been pleased with his own impact when given the chance.
"I'm absolutely loving it here, to be fair," said the 27-year-old. "There's a good vibe and it's a good camp to come in to. They've made me settle in very quickly.
"I've started about five or six games already this season, so I'd like to think I've proved myself and my worth on the pitch.
"But with the likes of Peter Stringer vying for places it's about keeping that consistency in my game.
"It's a long old season, there are other teams playing as well as us at the moment but it's certainly been a good start.
"We're under no illusions. There are a lot of teams vying for those top-four positions but we're just taking it one game at a time.
"This Christmas period coming up is going to be key for us in terms of building momentum."
Bath's latest triumph came at Adams Park against a Wasps side who were previously unbeaten at home this season.
But with confidence flowing through the corridors at Farleigh House at present, Roberts had no doubts they could pull it off.
"It's a good place to be at the moment. It was a good win at the weekend because it's a tough place to go and play," he added.
"Their form at home this season has been impressive, they have done rather well so it was a great result.
"We did well up front, they put in a massive shift, but there are a number of key areas where the game was won and lost.
"When a team is winning there is always a feel-good factor, but we just went there and focussed on our on-field positions and it obviously stood us in good stead."Every match in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Season is crucial.
