Bathampton Primary School pupil Florian Madigan completes second marathon cycle ride

A young boy has completed his second mammoth charity cycle ride.

Last year Florian Madigan, a pupil at Bathampton Primary School, cycled 160 miles to London to raise money for the Stroke Association.

Now, he has taken on a 200-mile challenge to Brighton to show his support for Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

The ten-year-old even managed to complete the route in just five days.

His father Brian, who accompanied him on the trip, said he was very proud of what the youngster had achieved and thanked everyone who had supported them and made the journey possible.

The father and son duo hope to beat their fundraising target of £500 for the Claverton Down home.
