Cases at Bath Magistrates' Court

These are among the latest cases to be dealt with by Bath Magistrates' Court.

Kathleen Murray, 65, of St Mary's Close, Timsbury, was fined £60 and given three penalty points for speeding.

Michael Clifford, 79, of Hitherspring, Corsham, was fined £165 and given three penalty points for speeding.

Marc Faraday, 31, of Albert Avenue, Peasedown St John, was given a community order, a curfew, an electronic tag and was ordered to pay £100 compensation for criminal damage.

Michael Harwood, 49, of Kilkenny Lane, Englishcombe, was fined £60 and given three penalty points for speeding.

Liam McMurray, 38, of Down Lane, Bathampton, was fined £60 and given four penalty points for speeding.

Shorn Rah, 42, of Roseberry Place, Bath, was fined £600 and given six penalty points for failing to provide a driver's identity to the police.

Jonathan Whittingham, 44, of Claremont Walk, Bath, was fined £600 and given six penalty points for failing to provide a driver's identity to the police.

A man will appear before magistrates in Swindon in October after being arrested following a police car chase in west Wiltshire. Matthew Rogers, 22, from Downs View in Bradford on Avon, was detained by officers along with two other occupants of a car which failed to stop in Trowbridge in the early hours of Sunday, August 4. Rogers has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, dangerous driving and possessing a class B drug.
