A Bath hotel has been given a makeover.
The Bath Waterside Travelodge is one of the first 500 in the chain to benefit from a £223 million national investment campaign.
All the rooms have been given a redesign and fitted with a new luxury bed.
The 125-room hotel, which opened in 2008 on Rossiter Road, has been refurbished in two weeks without any disturbance to the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
The work was carried out by the in-house maintenance team.
Manager Andy Ursell said: "We are very excited to have been selected as one of the first hotels across the Travelodge estate to benefit from this investment.
"The work was carried out with no disturbance to our day to day operation and the feedback we have received from customers has been outstanding.
"Everyone loves the new warm, contemporary feel of our new room and there is no doubt the hero of the room is definitely the Travelodge Dreamer bed.
"The demand for good quality branded budget accommodation in the area is growing at great pace, particularly as we enter the busy summer months, and now that we have a new room design we are offering even greater value in the local marketplace."
Meanwhile, work is continuing on the £11 million Premier Inn hotel in James Street West, which is due to open in November and will create 50 new jobs.
