A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Bath.

Diman Ramazan, from Bristol, has been charged with wounding with intent, threatening a person with a blade or sharply-pointed article in a public place and possession of a controlled Class B drug after the incident last Thursday.

He appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court on Friday. A man in his 20s underwent surgery to his arm after the incident at Orange Grove.

Squatters back

A group of squatters have taken over an old industrial site in the city for the second time in three years.

The South Quay Community Arts Project, led by Charlie Dancey, have taken over the Newark Works building at Lower Bristol Road. The derelict building is owned by Bath and North East Somerset Council, which is trying to get the group out.
