Larkhall Athletic survived a late scare to see off local rivals Odd Down by the odd goal in five on Good Friday and move up to third in the Toolstation League Premier Division.
Joe Vyner's excellent 15th-minute strike from an acute angle was quickly cancelled out by the visitors.
But the Larkhall hotshot was on target again soon after, set up by Kieran Baggs, and then returned the favour as Baggs made it 3-1 at half-time.
Odd Down bossed the second half and set up a grandstand finish when they pulled one back with 15 minutes to go but a couple of goalline clearances ensured the three points went to Larkhall.
The result moved them up to third on goal difference from Hallen and Bitton, who had to settle for a 1-1 draw on their trip to Longwell Green Sports.
Bradford Town reclaimed second spot in Division 1 by beating Westbury United 3-1 but Keynsham Town suffered a 3-0 home defeat to table-topping Hengrove Athletic.
Kent Kaupinnen and Ross Lye fired Corsham Town to a 2-1 win over Calne Town, which extended their winning run to five games.
All of the teams are in action again on Easter Monday.
