Children at a Bath primary school have bid a fond farewell to their cook who has retired after more than 20 years.
Mary Johnson, who has seen generations of families pass through Batheaston Primary School, served up her last school dinner at the end of term.
Head teacher Sarah Weber said she would be missed.
In a letter to parents she said: "I know you will agree that Mary's enthusiasm, and policy of cooking every meal as if it was for a family rather than a large catering exercise, has ensured that lunchtimes remain a high point of the day for many of the children.
"We will miss Mary, but wish her lots of good wishes for her new life, which includes very exciting holiday plans."
