Students at a Bath school have been learning about the excitement and fun of science and technology during a week of interactive lessons and experiments.
Oldfield School celebrated National Science and Engineering Week, which this year had the theme of invention and discovery.
Youngsters from Years 7 to 13 got involved with the sessions, which took place during lessons and also during lunchtime breaks.
Head of science David Robson said: "This year's theme for National Science and Engineering Week of invention and discovery presented us with many opportunities to offer students a range of activities designed to highlight the importance of science and technology in our lives.
"Through lunchtime events and in lessons, students tried their hand at inventing, discovered the world of computer aided design and took a 14.6 billion year journey to discover the wonders of the universe.
"Through our celebrations, we hoped to engage, excite and inspire students in science and technology whilst having lots of fun along the way."
