Schoolchildren have been learning how exciting science, engineering and maths can be during a two-week educational festival.
Pupils at Ralph Allen School have taken part in a range of practical activities and experiments as part of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Festival.
These have included a projectile test where Year 10 and 11 students fired a paint gun on the school field to learn more about trajectories.
There have also been visits to The Big Bang Fair in London, a maths event at Bristol Hippodrome and a science day at the @Bristol interactive science centre.
Next week the focus will move on to science, with events including a liquid hydrogen demonstration to local primary school pupils.
