Larkhall Athletic are hoping for plenty of local support on Saturday as they seek to make a piece of Bath non-league history by reaching the quarter-finals of the national FA Vase competition.
The Toolstation Premier Division club warmed up for this weekend's rearranged fifth-round clash against Tunbridge Wells (3pm) with a 1-0 success at Bristol Manor Farm on Tuesday night.
Tyler Sibbick's solo effort early in the second half lifted Larks – who boast a 100 per cent record in 2013 – into sixth spot, with games in hand on all of the teams above them.
The Larks are now hoping their Plain Ham pitch stays in good shape in the days ahead, having had last Saturday's much-anticipated last-16 Vase tie against Tunbridge called off.
Saturday's visitors, who play in the Kent Premier League, dumped out holders Dunston UTS in the last round. A home quarter-final date with Hadleigh United on March 2 awaits the winners.
Larks director of football Ger Rich said: "If we can win on Saturday then we'd be the first team from Bath to reach the quarter-finals of this national competition.
"We're at home and that is all you can ask for at this stage. Hopefully the crowd will be around the 300 mark.
"Beating Peacehaven in the last round was a big scalp for us and we're very confident going into Saturday's game."
Larkhall are also in Somerset Premier Cup quarter-final action on Tuesday when they travel to Evostik League Southern Division 1 South & West play-off contenders Paulton Rovers.
