Jakub Kucera managed to hold his nerve to slot home with 10 seconds remaining to snatch a late equaliser against Oxford in what was a lacklustre floorball performance from Bath.
Bath started well with a goal inside the first 30 seconds rounded off by forward Adam Engstrom before extending the lead to 3-1 with a second from Adam and one from Matt Scovell.
However, sloppy marking and a break away meant Oxford scored two goals in the final 90 seconds of the period to leave the score at 3-3 at the intermission.
After the break Bath refocused and power ahead to a 5-3 lead with eight minutes in the game remaining, including an industrious goal by Niko Muttilainen with excellent forechecking and an accurate finish.
There was still time lift and a spirited Oxford fight back saw them clinically put away chances left by opening in the Bath defence before a shot heading two metres wide of the goal rebounded off a defender's hand and looped over the goalkeeper to give Oxford a deserved 6-5 lead with two minutes on the clock before centre Andrew Field and Kucera combined to salvage a point for Bath.
Later in the day Bath would defeat Nottingham 9-3 to remain unbeaten in this year's University League while an improved performance in the weekend's other fixture led to an 11-3 win against Trowbridge in the South West division.
Scores from the weekend: Bath 6-6 Oxford, Warwick 4-7 Bath, Bath II 4-4 Oxford, Bath 9-3 Nottingham, Imperial 8-6 Warwick, Oxford 7-1 Nottingham, Bath I 4-5 Bath 2, Nottingham 2-6 Imperial, Warwick 4-6 Bath II, Oxford 1-4 Imperial, Nottingham 4-12 Warwick, Bath II 3-6 Imperial.
