A 19-year-old had his wallet stolen during a robbery in Bath.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened at around 1.55am last Wednesday.
The victim was walking along Milsom Street when he was pushed into a shop doorway and a man took his wallet.
The culprit ran off towards George Street and the wallet, minus a small amount of cash, was found later that morning in a litter bin near the Assembly Rooms.
The 19 year old was not hurt.
Detectives say that a possible suspect was seen begging in an aggressive manner to members of the public in Milsom Street shortly before the offence.
Those people are being asked to contact Bath CID on 101 with any information.
