Bath and North East Somerset Council has re-named its services for young people.
Youth Connect is a result of the merging of the council's existing youth service and Connexions, in order to make it easier for younger people to access support.
Youth Connect, which was chosen by young people, provides a range of services from positive activities and advice, through to individual support for those who need it for moving on into adulthood and work or training.
There are four youth hubs which provide activities, advice and guidance to young people which are at Southside and Riverside, Peasedown St John and Radstock.
The council's cabinet member for early years, children, and youth, councillor Dine Romero (Lib Dem, Southdown) said: "Youth Connect is an important service for many young people who need a bit of extra support on their way into adulthood. Despite the name change, those young people who use our services won't see much change at all – this is more about how we deliver services and joining things up."
Youth Connect will also continue to co-ordinate the Duke of Edinburgh Award in the area.
