Mother and daughter team Stephanie and Sandra Skelton braved a head shave to raise £4,500 for Macmillan Cancer this weekend.
The pair, from Twerton, teamed up with family friend John Tanner, who volunteered for a leg wax as well as a head shave.
They organised a fun day at Newton Mill Caravan Park with music, stalls, a barbecue and crafts before the head shave at 6pm.
Miss Skelton, 26, said they decided to fundraise after seeing people in the local community lose their loved ones.
She said: "We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support we've received. We've now raised over £4,500 more than double our original £2,000 target.
"It was a great day and had a great sense of a community coming together to raise money for a charity as amazing as Macmillan. I feel humbled that I could be part of something so worthwhile.
"On behalf of John, my mum Sandra and myself we want to thank everyone that donated and came along on the day. You made losing our hair all the more worthwhile, we couldn't have raised this money without your support."
