Staff, patients and visitors at Bath RUH vote for their favourite artworks

Fifty-six employees at Bath RUH from 34 different departments submitted work for an exhibition to brighten up the hospital's corridors.

Now staff, patients and visitors have chosen the best exhibits by secretly voting for their favourite pieces.

Security officer Marcin Plociniak's entry was chosen for best photograph, winning him a Royal Photographic Society workshop voucher.

Radiology porter Melanie Pozniakow also won best artwork in show, and has received a Meltone Gallery framing voucher.

She said: "Thank you so much, it has been a privilege to hang my prints at the RUH. It has been a great source of inspiration for my work over the years"

The exhibition was organised by Art at the Heart of the RUH, which regularly shows artwork in the central, north and south corridors of the hospital.

All works in the exhibition will be for sale with 33 per cent going directly to Art at the Heart of the RUH.
