Bath's longest-running comedy night is being moved to a new home.
The new Victoria Pub and Kitchen in Upper Bristol Road is now hosting the Comedy Cavern.
Since being started in 1998, the regular comedy night has been staged at the Porter pub in George Street, the Baroque nightclub in Bladud Buildings and Burdall's Yard in London Road.
The pub opened at the end of November in what was previously the New Westhall.
Owner Toby Brett said: "We have been very busy since we opened and having something as strong as the Cavern gives us a real boost."
Comedy Cavern founder, comedian Geoff Whiting, said: "The Victoria is a great venue for the Cavern to continue its success. I have worked with Toby the owner in three of his other pubs and he is a great supporter of comedy."
The venue will also host the heats of the Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year competition.
The Comedy Cavern runs every other Sunday with tickets at £8, available in advance on 01225 422563. For more information, see www.facebook.com/comedycavern.
Meanwhile, Mr Whiting appears in a BBC2 documentary on making money out of comedy on Wednesday night.
A programme launching the new series Funny Business looks at how comics make ends meet.
While top comedians can make a fortune from filling arenas, others top up their bank balances through advertisements and after dinner speeches. The 9pm documentary - which also features Royal Crescent resident John Cleese, is largely set in Bath and visits popular attractions such as the Royal Cresent, the Circus and Milson Street.
Mr Whiting has been booked for corporate events run by organisations as diverse as the Costcutters supermarket chain and Birmingham City University.
He began his career in comedy 16 years ago, when he moved to Bath, and has supported big names such as Michael McIntyre, Harry Hill, Dara O'Briain, and Lee Mack.
Mr Whiting was targeted for the programme due to his status as a successful compere, laying claim to the title of biggest comedy booker in the UK, coordinating comedians for more than 100 venues.
He said he had enjoyed doing the programme and working with the other comedians featured on the series, which is being show in three parts.
