The Citizens Advice Bureau for Bath and North East Somerset is offering good advice, according to an independent audit.
Carried out by national Citizens Advice, the audit rates the quality of advice given out by the bureau as good.
Its administration, finances and other systems are also up to the standard expected of a Citizens Advice Bureau.
The report praised the enthusiasm and commitment of volunteers and staff, the financial control and skill of the Trustee Board, and partnership work.
Gill Whitehead, interim director of CAB-BANES, said: "This is a real vote of confidence in the bureau and I'm delighted with the result.
"It shows that clients can be sure that they will get good advice from CAB-BANES. I'd like to thank all the staff, paid and unpaid, in the bureau for the hard work that made this result possible."
Each Citizens Advice Bureau has to undergo a rigorous audit every three years.
