Officers looking for the missing 18-year-old Sammuel Amin will be searching the area around the River Avon today.
Sammuel was last seen by friends at the OPA bar on North Parade in Bath at around 2am on Saturday.
Police have confirmed there will be officers searching the river area today.
A police spokesman said: "We are very concerned for his safety. It is very out of character for him to be missing."
The former Culverhay and Hayesfield sixth form pupil is described by officers as being of Asian appearance, 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build with black short hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a red and black lumber-style jacket.
A police spokesman said: "If you see Sammuel or know where he is, please call our 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101 and quote reference MP2338/14."
