Manchester United are prepared to take their summer spending past the £200million mark by signing World Cup players Arturo Vidal, Daley Blind and William Carvalho.
Negotiations with Juventus about Vidal are finally reaching a conclusion, with Javier Hernandez or Shinji Kagawa likely to head to Turin as part of the blockbuster deal.
Netherlands defender Blind will be reunited with World Cup boss Louis van Gaal after completing a £16million move from Ajax Amsterdam.
And Sporting Lisbon star Carvalho – whose agent Jorge Mendes also represents United new boy Angel Di Maria – is back on the agenda, with United ready to beat Arsenal to the £30million midfielder.
