Inter Milan hope to beat Liverpool to Paris Saint Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi – and will fund the move by selling Fredy Guarin to Manchester United.
That is according to reports in Gazetta dello Sport, who say that Ricky Alvarez will also be allowed to leave the San Siro to free up the money needed to cover Lavezzi's 4.5million euro a year wage.
Lavezzi impressed with Argentina at the World Cup but PSG are prepared to release him as they try to meet the UEFA Financial Fair Play rules.
