An immigration raid in Bath saw two men discovered hiding from enforcement officers - one in an attic and one on the roof.
Acting on intelligence, Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers visited an address on Walcot Street in the city this morning at 9.55am.
In total they arrested six Bangladeshi men aged between 27 and 32. Three of the men had overstayed their visas, two had entered the country illegally and another had obtained leave to remain by deception.
Officers found two of the men arrested hiding – one in the attic of the house and another on the roof.
All six arrested were transferred to immigration detention pending removal from the UK.
A Home Office spokesman said: "We would urge members of the public with detailed and specific information about immigration crime to contact us."
