Bath tennis ace Eden Richardson from Bath is marching on two fronts in the Nike Junior National Tennis Championships after an impressive day of competition at Nottingham Tennis Centre.
The seeded 16-year-old beat Eleanor Scarff 6-0, 6-3 in the first round of the 16U girls' singles and then defeated Emily Watson 6-1, 6-1 to reach the third round of the 18U competition.
"It was a hard day with the rain delays but I'm happy with how I played," said Richardson, who is back on court on Tuesday.
"I want to get as far as I can in both events and will just need to get rested before another busy day tomorrow."
