Chris Walker-Hebborn stormed to Commonwealth Games gold with victory in the 100m backstroke final on Friday night.
Bath National Training Centre swimmer Walker-Hebborn clocked a new Games Record of 53.12secs at the Tollcross National Swimming Centre.
Australian Mitch Larkin claimed silver, while Walker-Hebborn's England team-mate Liam Tancock and Josh Beaver, also of Australia, shared the bronze medal.
Walker Hebborn told the BBC: "I'm over the moon and speechless. I had a few things up my sleeve this evening and I was pumped. It helps when you see your squad doing so well and I'm buzzing."
Walker-Hebborn will be back in the pool on Saturday when he goes in the 50m backstroke semi-finals.
