Combe Down triumphed against Bathampton in an entertaining friendly clash 24 hours after their North Somerset League Saturday Conference Division 2 match at Saltford Fairway was cancelled.
After being put into bat at the Glasshouse, the visitors' opening pairing of Jonny Lewis (45) and Russell Franks (34) toiled in the face of some accurate bowling but remained intact and built a platform for the innings.
When wickets began to fall they came thick and fast with Jake Elliman bagging four, and almost a fifth off a hat-trick ball.
The Bathampton nnings closed at 148 all out in the 38th over.
In reply, Jake's dad Simon was the mainstay of an assured 151-4 off 30 overs.
