A former Bath schoolgirl has been named runner-up in a London design show.
London Metropolitan University graduate Ellie Corp, who went to King Edward's School, headed her own project for the New Designer of the Year competition.
She said she was shocked to have been announced the competition runner-up, with her project titled Suck: a BA starter.
"It was a surprise because my work is unconventional. It was really nice and the judges said they liked the creativity.
"It was a nice experience and it will be good to see the connections that can go on from this."
The 21-year-old graduated from the university with a first class honours degree in silversmithing and jewellery.
She has collaborated with celebrity chef Peter Gordon, designing cutlery and is now continuing to work with him.
"I will be working on this project until the end of the year and then I hope to put on other events and continue to explore the relationship between food and tools."
