Traffic is moving on all the main routes in and around the city but drivers are being warned about traffic building up in both directions on Upper Bristol Road but it is moving around the A3604 Windsor Bridge Road junction.
There are also reports of heavy traffic forming on London Road in both directions at Margaret's Hill junction.
All trains from Bath Spa Railway Station are running on time.
Motorists have been warned about delays because of roadworks in Weston and Widcombe.
Temporary three-way traffic lights are in place in Weston Lane, near the Royal United Hospital, while Wales and West Utilities insert new pipelines.
The work began yesterday and is due to continue until July 18.
Meanwhile, work has now also begun in Widcombe, where major works are being carried out to change the road layout around Widcombe Parade and Rossiter Road.
Queues are expected at peak times and the work is due to continue for the next five months.
No problems have been reported on motorways across the region.
