Police are appealing to anyone who may recognise the woman in the photo after she stole money from a shopper's purse.
The incident happened at around 2.15pm in Morrison's Local, Twerton on May 20, but the details have only just been released.
The woman in this CCTV picture is believed to be local and to be a regular customer of the store.
The purse was found later but with its money missing.
