There are no reports of any traffic problems so far on the roads in and around Bath.
The usual routes along the A4 The Paragon and A4 London Road are busy but traffic is moving.
The A4 Keynsham Bypass is also busy.
Trains in and out of Bath are back to normal after a series of delays earlier today while Network Rail carried out safety checks.
An alert was put out this morning after a small piece of masonry fell from a bridge at Sydney Gardens, falling onto the track but not hitting any trains. Engineers were called out to remove the brick and to check the stability of the bridge.
While this was being done, the London Paddington service was reduced from every half an hour to every hour and services between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon/Westbury faced delays.
