A Peasedown pub has been decorated with international flags as it gets ready to show all the countries playing in football's biggest competition: the FIFA World Cup. Customers at the Red Post Inn are being invited to guess the number of flags on display inside and outside of the pub. Simon Sandall, the Red Post landlord, said: "It took us two days to put all the flags up and I think it looks really good. "There are flags to represent the countries taking part in the FIFA World Cup, but there are duplicates as well. I am quite confident that we are the most decorated pub in the BANES area," he said.

It will cost punters £1 to guess the number of flags with the winner, either exact number or nearest guess, getting their hands on champagne. All proceeds from the flag competition will go to the local charity Dorothy House. It offers free care and support to people with life-threatening illnesses. The winner of the pub's competition will be announced during the final of the FIFA World Cup on Sunday June 13.
