Jesse Harris appears in court after revellers allegedly threatened with a knife in Bath

A 34-year-old man has been sent for trial at Bristol Crown Court after revellers were allegedly threatened by someone brandishing a knife in Bath city centre on Friday night. Jesse Harris, of Snow Hill, appeared at Bath Magistrates Court yesterday charged with threatening two people in Green Street with a 16cm wooden-handled kitchen knife. He has been remanded in custody and will appear before a judge in Bristol on June 3. Police were called to Milsom Street shortly before midnight on Friday after receiving a call from the CCTV operators about a man acting suspiciously. People had reported being approached by a man who acting in a threatening manner and waving a knife. A suspect was chased by two bouncers from a nearby bar, who tackled him and held him to the ground until police arrived.
