The businesses of Bath are being urged to put themselves forward for awards celebrating the best firms in the city.
The search is on to find the champion of customer service, which firm is the most innovative and which boasts the best website.
The Bath Chronicle Business Awards, supported by headline sponsor law firm Thrings, were officially launched last week, and entries are now open in the 14 categories. Businesses big and small have the chance to show what they and their staff are made of, from training and development to contribution to the community.
Chronicle editor Lynne Fernquest said the awards could not be a success without the continued support of sponsors.
"It will be bigger and better than ever before. As well as sponsorship, however, we at Bath News and Media would like you to do a little bit more work and on our behalf we would like you to encourage all of your business contacts to enter the awards."
Last year's awards saw more than 100 entries from businesses across the city.
Thrings' managing partner Simon Holdsworth said the company was proud to be title sponsors for a second year.
He said Bath as a city had a lot to offer: "We all have our part to play that the news about Bath isn't just about tourism, which is incredibly important. We need to make sure we shout out as loudly as possible what Bath is capable of."
The categories include Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Environmental Business of the Year and Retailer of the Year.
To enter the awards go to www.bathchron.co.uk/ businessawards.
The closing date for entries is July 18.
The winners will be announced at a gala evening to be held at Bath Racecourse on September 11.
