Nine Bath swimmers – including teenagers Siobhan-Marie O'Connor and Amelia Maughan – have been selected in a 39-strong Team England squad for this summer's Commonwealth Games.
It caps a successful return to full-time swimming for former Kingswood School pupil Maughan, who represents Aquae Sulis, after she took time out in 2013 to concentrate on her studies.
O'Connor is joined by British Gas National Centre Bath training colleagues Lizzy Simmonds, Sophie Allen, Andrew Willis, Chris Walker-Hebborn, Jay Lelliott and Joe Roebuck.
University of Bath swimmer Tilly Gray, who is coached by Mark Skimming, will also be heading to the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow for the major international competition, taking place from July 24-29.
Roebuck won silver medals in both the 200m and 400m individual medley at the 2010 Games in Delhi.
He has been training in Bath since January 2013 and said: "I don't want to take a step backwards so it's that or better for me. There's a really good training group here. It's all geared towards performance and it's an environment that breeds success."
Willis, a Chemical Engineering student at the university, returns to Commonwealth action after just missing out on the medals in the 200m breaststroke four years ago.
"I was relieved to qualify and I'm really excited now the team has been named," he said.
Sports Performance student and Santander Scholar Lelliott, who is also coached by Skimming, will be making his Commonwealth debut.
"It was a bit of a shock to qualify but now I have I want to make a statement and show people what I can do," he said.
"I'm really buzzing. To go to Glasgow and represent my country will be incredible."
Talented teenager O'Connor has appeared at Olympics and World Championships but will make her Commonwealth Games bow this summer.
"I'm really excited and so happy to be on the team," she said.
"London 2012 was incredible and I loved the Games environment. That made me really hungry. This is the kind of thing I do the training for."
England Chef de Mission Jan Patterson said: "This is a really exciting squad of swimmers who will be looking to continue the fine tradition their sport has of performing well under the flag of St George at the Commonwealth Games.
"I'd like to congratulate them all on their selection, welcome them to Team England and wish them all the very best for their final preparations leading to Glasgow."
Team Leader for England's swimmers in Glasgow will be Dawn Peart who believes the team of 2014 is ideally prepared to meet the challenge.
"I am looking forward to leading the England swimming team in Glasgow and am excited about England's prospects given the balance of experienced swimmers and newcomers on the team," she said.
"It is a performance-focused team that has been selected with realistic opportunities for success, while for some of the younger swimmers it will be an opportunity for them to make their first mark at international level.
"Competition in Glasgow promises to very strong with representations from Scotland and Wales together with major challengers from Australia, Canada and South Africa. This should give rise to some exciting races and we will work hard as a team to make England proud."
Already confirmed in Team Scotland and Team Wales respectively are Olympic silver-medalist Michael Jamieson and Jemma Lowe.
Fellow Bath-based swimmer Alexander Beaton will contest back-to-back Commonwealths for Guernsey.
