Dunkerton's Ashley Barnes has completed his journey from Paulton Rovers to the Premier League after firing Burnley into the top flight on Easter Monday.
The 24-year-old finished off a tremendous team move with an emphatic volley to set Burnley on their way to a 2-0 home win over Wigan Athletic and spark scenes of jubilation at Turf Moor as promotion from the Championship was sealed with two games to spare.
It was Barnes' third goal since moving to the Clarets from Brighton & Hove Albion for an initial fee of £750,000 in January.
Manager Sean Dyche said after the Wigan win: "That first goal today from Ashley Barnes was worthy of any football pitch. If that was Arsenal it would be showed about 400 times.
"Some of our goals have been absolutely incredible."
Barnes played for Bath Arsenal, Welton Arsenal and Welton Rovers under-18s before being snapped up by Paulton Rovers in 2005.
His prolific scoring form attracted the interest of Football League clubs and he left Winterfield Road to join Plymouth Albion in 2007.
Barnes scored two goals in 17 appearances for the Pilgrims and spent loan spells at Salisbury, Eastbourne Borough, Torquay United and Brighton.
Four goals in four appearances earned Barnes a permanent move to the Seagulls in 2010 and he helped them to promotion from League 1 in his first season there.
